File Preparation Suggestions
1. PDF Format: PDF files
reduce the chance of errors in the prepress process and speeds
up proofing the file.
2. Suggested Preparation Software:
Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop,
Macromedia Freehand - Mac or PC platform.
File Checklist
1. Page size is correct (page size is the
final size after trimming)
2. Bleed is extended past the page size area by 1/4 inch
3. All fonts are included
4. Colors are listed correctly for separations
5. All images are high resolution (at least 300dpi) and are
in CMYK mode
6. All images are included
7. Photoshop or original working/layered files are included
for any editing needs
